Xiaoyaojin Street

Xiaoyaojin street is located in the southeast of Luyang District, Hefei City, Anhui Province. It starts from Nanfeihe in the East, ends at Huancheng South Road in the south, ends at Huancheng North Road in the north, and ends at Tongcheng road and Lu'an road in the West. It covers an area of 2.92 square kilometers and has a permanent resident population of 19511 (2010). It governs six communities, including Sipailou community, Hongqi community, jiushiqiao community, Yicang community, Xianqiao community and Gongchen community.

history

Xiaoyaojin, located in the northeast corner of the old city of Hefei, is only one step away from the crossbow platform. It is recorded as an ancient battlefield in the Three Kingdoms period. Xiaoyaojin, also known as "doujiachi" and "douyachi", was a ferry on Feishui in ancient times. In 215, the 20th year of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty, Sun Quan led 100000 troops to attack Hefei, but the troops were still in the army, which was attacked by Cao Cao's general Zhang Liao. When Sun Quan retreated here, the Jinqiao bridge had been demolished. Sun Quan got out of danger by flying over Feishui on a horse. Later generations named this bridge Feiqi bridge. The story of "Zhang Liao Wei Zhen Xiao Yao Jin" in the famous classical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms comes from this.

Hefei, known as the "hometown of the Three Kingdoms" in Xiaoyaojin, has left many sites related to the Three Kingdoms due to the competition between Wei and Wu for more than 30 years. There are many historical records, such as the new city of the Three Kingdoms, Yuan Shu tombs, Zheng Di Pu, Zang Zhou Pu, Hui Long Qiao, Fei Qi Qiao, Hu Bing Tang, ancient Xiaoyao Jin and Jiao Nu Tai. Most of the sites mentioned above have disappeared due to the changes of history, the influence of war and nature. At present, only Xiaoyaojin and Mingjiao Temple (jiaoluotai) are preserved completely and can be found.

Xiaoyaojin sub district office originally had 16 communities under its jurisdiction, including Hongqi community, Sipailou community, provincial medical community, Nanmen community, Anqing East Road community, Wuxing Temple community, square community, Huayuan community, Gongchen community, Huancheng South Road community, Shucheng Road community, Yicang community, Gongyuan community, Dadongmen community, jiushiqiao community and Suzhou Road community. After adjustment in 2012, it was officially combined into six communities, namely Sipailou community, Hongqi community, jiushiqiao community, Yicang community, Xianqiao community and Gongchen community.
