Production steps:

Step 1: wash the glutinous rice and soak it for about 3 hours

Step 2: wash and peel the lotus root, cut one end, and cut it a little slant, so that it can be stuffed with glutinous rice

Step 3: start stuffing glutinous rice. After a little stuffing, poke it with chopsticks. When it comes to small holes, poke it with toothpick. Try not to leave any holes

Step 4: cover the cut lotus root and insert it with toothpick to prevent it from falling off and leaking out (no glutinous rice in the head)

Step 5: put lotus root, brown sugar, rock sugar, Osmanthus fragrans into the pot, add fresh water without lotus root, and bring to a boil

Step 6: bring the water to a boil, turn the heat down and simmer for about 2 hours. After cooling, remove and slice.

Note: 1. The longer the glutinous rice is soaked, the more sticky the rice will be. It can reduce the amount of glutinous rice 2. It's better to choose the plump lotus root
