Single drum dance of wulachen Han Military Banner is a dance of Chang and Zhang families in the family sacrificial activities. Chang family called it "single drum", Zhang family called it "Taiping drum".

The single drum dance of Wula Chenhan military flag is a dance form of beating single drum and swinging waist bell.

Single drum, called "Zhenpeng penggu" in Liao Dynasty, is an indispensable tool for shaman to jump into the spirit. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Jin inherited it from Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty.

The performance of single drum dance is rich in skills, unique charm and fascinating. During the dance, the waist is swayed by the movement of feet, so that the 32 waist bells hanging on the waist collide with each other, making a clear and pleasant "Hua Hua" sound with distinct rhythm. At the same time, the single drum is knocked with both hands to cooperate with it. The dance steps of single drum dance are continuously changing, such as t-step, roundabout step, three small steps forward, one step backward, standing still step, etc.

Although dance and its techniques serve for the sacrificial activities of his family, it is of great significance to study the cultural blending history of Manchu and Han nationalities in Northeast China.
