The Miao folk song Feige in Gedong Town, Jianhe County, Guizhou Province is named "Gedong Miao Feige" because it is popular in Gedong area. It is called "hxak Yangt" in Miao language. The real voice of Miao language is used in his singing. His voice is loud and clear, bold and unrestrained. The melody is bright, penetrating and highly infectious. It is mainly spread in Gedong Town, censong town and Shidong town of Taijiang county.

As Miao is a nation without written language, its origin can not be verified. Because the two sides of the song across the mountain, the voice is too light to hear clearly. Only by shouting can the other side hear the singing content clearly. Therefore, the "flying song" of the Miao Nationality in Gedong, which relies on the real voice to sing, has strong penetration and strong appeal.

The local singer's flying songs can be heard from several miles away.
