Daur means "pioneer". Daur mainly live in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Heilongjiang Province, and a few live in Tacheng city of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Daur folk music has many forms, such as folk songs, counterpart songs and dance lyrics. It is characterized by passionate tone, euphemism and variety, distinct rhythm and strict rhythm.

Hanbodai Daur folk song is a kind of music style full of Daur ethnic customs, which is mainly spread in hanbodai village and its nearby villages in duermenqin Daur Township, Fularji District, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province. According to the local records of fulaer base, during the Russian invasion in 1649, the Daurs living on the North Bank of Nenjiang River began to migrate to Fulaerji and settled down in duermenqin Township, forming a certain scale. Hanbodai village is the village where Daurs gather. In the long-term production and life, the Daur people of hanbodai have created a large number of folk songs. Because Daur has no written language, these folk songs have been passed down orally from generation to generation, and have been enriched in this process, forming the unique style of Daur folk songs in hanbodai village.

The folk songs of Han Bodai Daur nationality fully reflect the real situation of local Daur people's production and life. The theme content involves nature, labor, love, weddings and funerals, festivals, traditional education and so on. Its singing forms include soloist, chorus, duet, song and dance, etc. when singing, the rhythm is bright, the combination of hardness and softness, the enthusiasm is unrestrained, and the lining words are used repeatedly in many places, which has a strong original ecological characteristics. Without timely protection, the Daur folk songs of hanbodai will be on the verge of extinction.
