Applicant: Changhai County, Liaoning Province
Changhai County is the only Island border county in China. Changhai chant is a kind of labor chant produced by island residents in the process of sea trade and fishing. It is mainly spread in Changshan Islands in the north of Yellow Sea on the east side of Liaodong Peninsula. Changhai Haozi originated in the last years of the Eastern Han Dynasty (220), and gradually developed and perfected until the end of the Qing Dynasty (1911). It was in its heyday in the 1960s.
There are many kinds of chants in Changhai, with rich contents and different modes, which are mainly divided into two categories: one is the chant of boat people, which is the chant of boat people on the transport ship in labor; the other is the chant of fishermen, which is mainly the chant of fishermen when they are fishing.
Changhai Haozi tune is broad, rugged, high pitched and melodious. It mainly includes Siping tune, Erliu tune, Liushui tune, Sanqiang tune, Xiaohua tune, Dahua tune and dashuan tune. The rhythm is vivid and lively, mostly 4 / 4, 2 / 4, 1 / 4 beat and loose board, short syllables, popular words and sentences, mostly three or five words. Changhai chants mainly include: prop (read "palm" sound), big awning chant (composed of "three start" and "old chant"), pulling anchor chant, pulling anchor chant, rowing chant, pulling fiber chant, leaving cabin chant, pushing boat chant, pulling beach chant, pulling net chant and pulling fish bag chant, etc.
In the 1990s, with the change of production mode and the death of old boatman and fisherman, the development of Changhai trumpet once fell into a dilemma and needed to be protected.
