The Manchu paper-cut in Changbai Mountain appeared in the Nuzhen period of Jianzhou at the end of Ming Dynasty. At that time, Nvzhen could make paper with local methods, which laid a material foundation for the popularization and popularity of paper-cut in Changbai Mountain. In addition to paper, Manchu people can also use birch bark, leaves, Baomi nest to make paper-cut, which is unique.
