Hanihaba Hani means Hani ancient songs. It is a popular and far-reaching folk ballad in Hani social life. It is a solemn and elegant ancient singing form different from Hani folk songs, love songs and children's songs. Hanihaba is mainly spread in Yuanjiang, Mojiang, Luchun, Jinping, Jiangcheng and other Hani inhabited counties between Honghe River and Lancang River in southern Yunnan Province, as well as Simao, Xishuangbanna, Lancang and other places.
The content of haniha bar involves the production and labor, primitive religious ceremonies, humanistic norms, ethics, weddings and funerals, food, clothing, housing, literature and art of Hani ancient society. It is an encyclopedia of Hani people's educational customs and life with terraced farming as the core for generations. According to the data collected at present, Hani's ancient songs woguozenigo, Hani apeichongpo, twelve slave Bureau and Mudi MIDI are the representative works of Hani's Haba.
Haniha bar is mainly sung by folk singers in the banquet of ceremonious occasions such as sacrifice, festivals, weddings and funerals, house building, etc. to express Festival congratulations and auspicious wishes. Its content is large-scale, rigorous structure, singers can sing for several days and nights. The singing methods include one lead singer, many accompaniment singers, one question and one answer, two duets and many harmonies.
Hanihaba is the embodiment of Hani national culture, which has certain research value of history, culture and folklore. At present, the number of singers who can sing haniha bar is decreasing day by day. This ancient form of poetry singing lacks successors and is in urgent need of protection.
