Zhangjiagang modern agriculture demonstration park
Located in the southeast of Zhangjiagang, the modern agricultural demonstration park is a young plain formed by the alluvial of the Yangtze River, with a total area of 37.5 square kilometers and a cultivated area of 36000 mu. It governs seven rural communities and one town neighborhood committee, with a population of nearly 20000. The park's GDP reached 554 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.5%, including 143 million yuan of agricultural added value, accounting for 26%, and 46.97 million yuan of public budget revenue, a year-on-year increase of 54%.
Park scale
The park was originally Changyinsha farm of provincial agricultural reclamation, which was put under local management in 2004. In the past eight years, Zhangjiagang City has invested nearly 2 billion yuan to improve social infrastructure, optimize industrial form, improve people's livelihood, and strive to build a modern agricultural model area with unique advantages. At present, the green growth of the park is in the ascendant. Thousands of hectares of good farmland are uniform, thousands of mu of greenhouses are concentrated, the river is vertical and horizontal, the water system is independent, the flowers and fruits are fragrant all the year round, the trees are full of shade, the villages are clean and livable, and the people live and work in peace and contentment. It has become the only urban oasis in the background of industrialization in Suzhou and even Southern Jiangsu.
Mode construction
Focusing on the overall requirements of "Jiangnan Water Town, rural scenery and modern farm", the park adheres to the "development zone mode construction and company mode operation", solidly promotes the development of modern high-efficiency agriculture, forms three leading industrial layout of "high-efficiency fruits and vegetables in the north and south, green rice in the middle, and waterfront characteristic aquatic products", and introduces and cultivates 21 agricultural enterprises, including one national level and two Suzhou municipal level, It has 29 pollution-free agricultural products, 18 green food and 6 organic food. With strong support for agricultural science and technology, the "industry university research" cooperation has been strengthened in an all-round way, and the laboratories and experimental bases of seven scientific research institutes, including Nanjing Agricultural University, Yangda University and Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, have successively settled in the park. Agricultural technology promotion has achieved remarkable results, with more than 30 new varieties and nearly 10 new technologies. In order to enrich the people, we have built a 10000 mu high-quality rice production base in Suzhou, and six characteristic bases for puffer breeding, lotus root intercropping, late autumn pear, green grape, high-quality citrus, and high-quality vegetables, with an average annual growth rate of more than 30%. We have established 41 cooperative organizations, with a 98% participation rate of farmers, bringing benefits of nearly 50 million yuan. The social role has become increasingly prominent. The Changyinsha vegetable distribution center has been built with high standards to give full play to the short process advantage of "base table" and provide the freshest safe, high-quality and reassuring vegetables for the people of the whole city in time.
