Zifang street is located in the northeast of Yunlong District, Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It covers an area of 5.75 square kilometers and has a population of 69430 (2010). It has jurisdiction over 14 communities including Jinlong, Zifang, tiecha, Yuanmeng, Jinpu, Xiangshan, Jianxin, Jinshi, Liqun, Liangzhuang, xiahong, Tiegong, Tiehua and Tieqiao. It got its name from zifangshan. It was built in 1956, and was assigned to Gulou District in 1957 and Yunlong District in 1993. In 1996, it covers an area of 1.8 square kilometers and has a population of 14000. It has jurisdiction over six neighborhood committees, namely Jindong, Jinlong, Zifang, Baiyun, Zhongxing and Liangshi. In January 2005, Zifang street and Tongshan street were merged into Zifang street. After the adjustment, Zifang Street governs eight communities, including Jinlong, Zifang, tiecha, Yuanmeng, Jinpu, Xiangshan, Jianxin and Jinshi, with an area of 3.79 square kilometers and a population of 36000.
