Wangzuo town belongs to Fengtai District of Beijing. Located in the southwest suburb of Beijing, Fengtai District in the West. It borders Fangshan District in the southwest, Mentougou District in the northwest and Changxindian town in the northeast. With an area of 63.62 square kilometers, it governs 8 central villages, 36 natural villages and 48581 permanent residents (2017). The town government is located at 99 Changqing Road.

In August 2002, it was listed as the only municipal sustainable development experimental area among 33 small towns in Beijing, and the per capita income reached 8949 yuan in 2008.
