Tongda Town, subordinate to Mingshui County, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the west of Mingshui county and the northwest of Songnen Plain. It is connected with Mingshui town in the East, Yulin Township in the south, liming Township in Lindian County in the West and Chongde town in the north. It is 21 kilometers away from Mingshui County, with a total administrative area of 349.59 square kilometers.

In 1910, Tongda town was called xiaosanlisantun. In July 1983, Tongda commune was changed into Tongda town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Tongda town was 37230. In 2019, Tongda town governs 11 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in the second village of Tongda village.

In 2018, Tongda town has 28 industrial enterprises and 15 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1910, it was called xiaosanli Santun.

In December 1923, it belonged to Xixiang. In 1929, it was the Fourth District of Mingshui county. In 1931, the ninth insurance was set up. In 1938, it belonged to Tongda and Lida villages. In February 1946, the seventh district was set up.

In 1949, the seventh district was renamed Tongda district.

In 1956, Tongda district was changed into Tongda township.
