Development and evolution

In 1962, it opened up wasteland and established a potato breeding farm in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province; in 1970, it was transferred to the leadership of Nenjiang County and renamed Shuguang potato breeding farm; in 1977, it was transferred to the leadership of Heilongjiang agriculture and Animal Husbandry Bureau and renamed today; in 1980, it was also called Heilongjiang potato breeding farm of China seed company. The total land area is 32 square kilometers. The total population is 2706, including 2025 employees. now it belongs to the Department of agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery of Heilongjiang Province. It has jurisdiction over 4 sub farms and 10 directly subordinate units, among which the directly subordinate units in other places are: Juyuan water land rice improved variety farm in Heilongjiang Province, Juyuan township farm in Acheng County, Heilongjiang Province, with 5000 mu of cultivated land and 3000 mu of fish water surface, and 80 employees; coal mine of Heilongjiang seed company, located in Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province, has 600 employees; Songjiang trading company, located in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, has 20 employees Wudalianchi sanatorium, located in Wudalianchi City, has 30 employees and 100 beds; Zhujiang Hotel, located in Harbin City, is under construction. The economy is mainly based on planting industry and comprehensive management of agriculture, industry and commerce. It is the national potato seed breeding base. In 1985, 22400 Mu were sown, of which 12.5% were seed potatoes and 84.8% were grains and beans; the total output of potato was 3000 tons and 2500 tons were transferred; the total output of grain and beans was 2900 tons and 1613 tons were sold; the total output value of industry and agriculture was 4 million yuan and the profit was 200000 yuan.
