Shoushan Township

Shoushan township is under the jurisdiction of Jin'an District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It is a typical mountainous Township with an altitude of about 1000 meters. The annual average temperature is 5-7 ℃ lower than that of Fuzhou City, and the forest coverage rate is as high as 89%.

Shoushan township is famous for its long summer without intense heat, short winter without severe cold, beautiful mountains and rivers, pleasant climate, abundant water resources, well protected vegetation, lush forests, fruits and bamboos, and unique cultural and natural landscape.

In 2017, Shoushan Township had an administrative area of 15846 hectares and a permanent population of 8793.

On June 29, 2020, it will be included in the list of provincial rural governance demonstration towns.

General situation of villages and towns

Shoushan township is located in the north of Fuzhou City, about 7 kilometers up the mountain from the National Forest Park, Xindian town in the south, Rixi Township in the north, Huanxi town in the East and Minhou County in the West. It is known as the "back garden" of Fuzhou City. In August 2004, Lingtou township was merged with Lingtou Township, with 22 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. Lingtou village, where the township government is located, is 12 km away from the city center.
