Zhenwen town

Zhenwen Town, located in the lower reaches of Jianjiang River, is a town under the jurisdiction of Wuchuan City, Guangdong Province, covering an area of 58.2 square kilometers (2017). It has 16 administrative districts, one neighborhood committee, 204 natural villages and zhenwenwei, the seat of the town government. It is about 10 kilometers away from the center of Wuchuan City. The water and land transportation in the town is very convenient, and there is Guangzhan highway in the southwest of the town. In 2005, Wuchuan City was named "China's down town", Zhenwen town is one of the main down industry areas. The total population of the town is 107136 (2017).

Township economy

The town is located in the lower reaches of Jianjiang plain, fertile soil, crops can be three crops a year, agricultural foundation is relatively stable. It is the main grain and oil producing area in Wuchuan City, and it is also a famous high-yield area of peanut. Garlic is the main economic crop transported to the north in winter, and has developed various vegetable industries transported to the north. Township enterprises are a major advantage of the town. The main products are building materials, rubber and plastic products, firecrackers, wood products, wine making, down and so on. Shuikoudu district is the concentration of township enterprises in the town. The waste rubber processing industry is prosperous, and the down industry in the town is very developed.

In 2013, the GDP increased by 13.6%, of which the added value of the primary industry increased by 5.1%, the added value of the secondary industry increased by 15.8%; the total retail sales of social consumer goods increased by 13.5%; the general budget revenue of local finance increased by 18%; the natural growth rate of population was controlled below 10 ‰; and the per capita income of farmers increased by 8%.

We will transform and upgrade industries such as down, rubber recycling, wine making and waste material recycling, promote centralized layout, supporting production, joint sales and technical cooperation, and strive to build industrial clusters with better industrial characteristics, higher scientific and technological content and stronger supporting capacity. In accordance with the idea of "training and developing a batch, transforming and upgrading a batch, limiting and eliminating a batch", we should speed up the structural adjustment of private industrial enterprises. During the year, more than one enterprise above designated size was added.

2. We will intensify efforts to attract investment. Comprehensively improve the quality and effectiveness of investment promotion, and continue to pay attention to the "enclave" policy. Speed up the construction of "two belts and five bases", that is, economic crop belt, agricultural industrial belt and five bases, promote ecological and healthy breeding, and actively develop tilapia, pig and broiler based breeding industry. We should standardize the management of land circulation and develop appropriate scale management of land. Accelerate the cultivation and development of leading agricultural enterprises, professional cooperatives and other modern agricultural business entities, and promote the large-scale, organized and intensive agricultural production and operation. Vigorously promote the mechanization of agricultural production and improve production efficiency. We will accelerate the construction of water conservancy and rural infrastructure.

Among them, shangtunxing village, Jiaoling village, xiapo village and xiatunxing village are the most economically developed villages. Their village roads have been well illuminated and a series of infrastructure facilities such as cultural buildings have been built. Located in the west of Zhenwen Town, it belongs to hilly terrain, with 16 natural villages, 1698 households, a population of 7942, and a cultivated area of 3400 mu. Remarkable achievements have been made in the construction of new socialist countryside, and people's living standards have been greatly improved. There are 14 villages built cement hard bottom village road. The telephone penetration rate reached 76%, 50% of the people drank clean tap water, 100% of the people realized power supply and lighting, and the water supply, power supply, telecommunications and other networks were constantly improved.
