Maoxing town

Maoxing Town, belonging to Zhaoyuan County, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the west of Zhaoyuan County, the left bank of Songnen and two river interchanges, East and the first town, and south facing Jilin Road, Songyuan, and west of Jilin, and Zhaoyuan, and north of the township. It has 212.94 square kilometers in area and 20051 people in registered residence.

The name comes from the name of maoxing station, originally known as "maoxing Susu", also known as "muwusu", which means "bad water" in Mongolian. It is an ancient post station in Qing Dynasty. In the Republic of China, the 12th district was set up. In September 1958, maoxing commune was merged with Minmin township. In 1962, public opinion commune was set up in Minmin township. In March 1984, it was changed into maoxing town. As of October 2019, maoxing town has 7 administrative villages.

In 2018, maoxing town had 7 industrial enterprises and 49 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In 1931, maoxingbao was established, and then maoxing village was established.

Maoxing town is located in the west of Zhaoyuan County, on the left bank of the intersection of Songnen two rivers. It is adjacent to Toutai town in the East, Songyuan City in Jilin Province across Nenjiang road in the south, Daan City in Jilin Province across the river in the west, and Haode Mongolian Township in the North, covering an area of 212.94 square kilometers.
