Laoshantou Township

Laoshan tou Township, located in Datong District, Daqing City, Heilongjiang, is located in the southwest of Datong District. It is located in the east of Zhaozhou, and is situated in the vicinity of the new village of Zhaozhou. It is adjacent to the town of Daxing and Daxing Township, Zhaoyuan county. It connects to the sun rising town in the north. In 2018, the area was 218.77 square kilometers and the registered residence was 19689.

Historical evolution

In 1955, it was renamed laoshantou district.

In April 1956, Central Township was set up.

In September 1958, the Township Reform commune was established.

In April 1960, Xinglong commune was incorporated into the city; in May 1960, it was transferred to Anda City and renamed Putaohua commune.

In March 1961, it was divided into two communes: Putaohua commune and laoshantou commune.

In 1965, laoshantou commune was transferred to anda county.

In April 1978, it was assigned to Datong District.

In April 1984, it was changed to laoshantou township.

In 2002, he moved to Yongtai village.

At the end of 2011, laoshantou township has six administrative villages, namely laoshantou, Yongji, Yongfu, Yongtai, Yonglong and Guangrong, and six villager groups.

As of October 2019, laoshantou township has jurisdiction over laoshantou village, Yonglong village, Yongfu village, Guangrong village, Yongtai village and Yongji village.
