Liguo Township

Liguo Township, belonging to Zhanhua District, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, is located in the east of Zhanhua District, bordering Lijin County, Dongying City in the East and south, Fuyuan street in the West and Xiahe Township in the north. The area is 100.23 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 14752 people registered residence in Li country.

February 1963, belongs to Maying district. In May 1968, it was changed into Maying commune. In April 1982, it was renamed Liguo commune. In June 1984, it was changed to Liguo township. As of June 2020, the rural areas of Liguo have jurisdiction over 28 administrative villages.

In the Northern Song Dynasty, the territory belonged to Zhaoan County.

In the Jin Dynasty, it belonged to Zhanhua County.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to five districts.

In September 1958, Li Guo commune was established.

February 1963, belongs to Maying district.

In May 1968, it was changed into Maying commune.

In April 1982, it was renamed Liguo commune.
