Runjin Township
Runjin Township, belonging to Kedong County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the middle and west of Kedong County, adjacent to Yugang town in the East, Changsheng town in the south, Jincheng town in the West and Kedong town in the north. It is 9 kilometers away from the county seat, with a total administrative area of 325 square kilometers.
In the early years of the Republic of China, Runjin township was located in the 12th Agricultural District of Nehe county. In October 2004, Shuangqing township was merged into Runjin township. By the end of 2018, the population of run Jin Township registered residence was 32892. In 2019, Runjin rural area has 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's government is stationed in Zhongxin village.

History of construction
In the early years of the Republic of China, Runjin township was located in the 12th Agricultural District of Nehe county. In December 1929, it was under the jurisdiction of Kedong Administrative Bureau. After the fall of Northeast China in 1931, it belonged to Nanbao of Kedong County. In 1939, Runjin village was established. In 1945, Runjin district was set up.
In 1949, Runjin district was changed into the third district.
In 1955, it was renamed Runjin district.
In April 1956, the township was divided into three townships: Runjin, Qunli and Jianshe.
In September 1958, the three townships were merged to form Runjin people's commune.
In June 1961, Dongsheng commune was established.
In March 1984, it was changed into Runjin township.
In October 2004, Shuangqing township was merged into Runjin township.
administrative division
In 1986, Runjin rural area governed 12 administrative villages, namely, culture, Minjian, Heping, Wanfa, Zizi, Jinxing, Yuhe, Wanmin, Lishan, Jili, liming and Zhongxin.
In August 2001, cultural village was abolished and administrative division was merged into Zhongxin village; Minjian village was abolished and administrative division was merged into Heping Village; Jinxing village was abolished and administrative division was merged into Yuhe village; Liming Village was abolished and administrative division was merged into Jili village.
In 2019, Runjin rural area governs 15 administrative villages, including Heping Village, Tai'an village, Yezi village, Yuhe village, Lishan village, Jili village, Wanmin village, Zhongxin village, lirang village, Renhe Village, Furao village, Yongsheng Village, Anye village, Jianshe village and Guangrong village; the people's government is stationed in Zhongxin village.
