Huamin Township
Huamin Township, belonging to Longjiang County of Qiqihar City, is located in the southeast of Longjiang County, adjacent to gaolaerji District in the East, Guanghou Township in the south, Jingxing town in the West and heigang Township in the north. The total administrative area is 290.11 square kilometers. In 2019, Huamin rural governs nine administrative villages. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Huaming township was 29812.

Historical evolution
During the period of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of the third district and the Second District of Longjiang County.
After the fall of Northeast China, he was attached to durmenqin village.
In 1938, it was transferred to halatai village.
In 1946, it was subordinate to halatai district.
In 1948, it was transferred to the second district.
In March 1956, the village was divided into townships and Huamin township was set up.
In June 1958, it was incorporated into Guanghou Township and renamed Guanghou people's commune in September of the same year.
In 1960, the former Huamin area was separated from Guanghou commune to form Huamin commune.
In May 1984, Huamin commune was changed into Huamin township.
