On January 12, 2020, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Puge county and other seven counties (cfzm [2021] No. 1): Baoshi township was abolished and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of zhuajue Town, and zhuajue Town People's government was stationed at No. 82, group 1, bushijue village.

Zhuajue town of Yuexi county is located in the southeast of Yuexi County, 50 kilometers away from the county seat. With the approval of Sichuan Provincial People's government, the former zhuajue Township and Guer Township were abolished, and the former zhuajue Township and Guer Township were merged to establish zhuajue town.
