Chong River town, belonging to Wuchang City, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southeast of Wuchang City, adjacent to Pearl Mountain Township in Shangzhi City, and bordering Shahe town in the south, adjacent to the Longfeng Mountain Township in the west, and North and the small hill town. In 2018, the area was 826.58 square kilometers and the registered residence was 30337 people.

In 1949, it belonged to five districts of Wuchang county. In 1958, the township changed into a commune. In April 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In 1985, the township was transformed into a town. As of October 2019, Chonghe town has 11 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 10 industrial enterprises in Chonghe Town, including 2 above scale and 17 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
