Located in the southwest of the county, 19 kilometers away from the county government. It covers an area of 113.04 square kilometers and has a population of 17077 (2017).
Pingluo County is a town under the jurisdiction of Pingluo County. Yaofu township was established in 1955, the commune was changed in 1958, Yaofu township was restored in 1982, and the town was established in 1985. It has jurisdiction over eight village committees and Yaofu neighborhood committee, namely Yaofu, Shaqu, Yongsheng, Dengta, Shuguang, Yaoqu, Gaorong and Xiaodianzi. Huinong and Tanglai canals cross the town. Agriculture mainly produces wheat, corn and rice. There are ancient Tianzhou pagodas in Xixia. Shuiwo and developing forest belt in gaorongxi will connect with Shahu and become one of the main tourist areas in Ningxia.
