In 1946, Kangan Street Office of Guxiang district was set up. In 1954, kang'an street was set up. In 1961, Harbin Daoli commune kang'an branch was established. In January 1980, it was changed to kang'an street. As of June 2020, kang'an street has jurisdiction over four communities, and its sub district office is located at 31 Xinting street.

In 1946, Kangan Street Office of Guxiang district was set up.

In 1948, it was changed to kang'an Street government.
