In 1962, it was dachangtun street.

In 1964, dachangtun street was merged into Jiangnan street, belonging to Chuanying district.

In March 1992, it was assigned to Fengman District.

In September 1993, Jiangnan street was divided into dachangtun street.

In September 2003, dachangtun street was renamed Yanfeng street.
