Longcheng street is the political, economic and cultural center of Longmen County.

On August 27, 1949, Longcheng Street belonged to Dongjiang district. In April 1988, it was put under the jurisdiction of Huizhou City. By the end of 2019, the total population of Longcheng street was 92 thousand, of which 79 thousand registered residence. Longevity Temple

Wanshou ancient temple was built by Li Wanning, the magistrate of Wanli County in 1584. Longmen County annals in 1667 listed "Zhu Sheng Tan Hua" as one of the "eight Longmen sceneries".

Huanwen building

Huanwenlou, located in Huawei village, Longcheng street, was built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty (1796-1820). According to the tombstone records of Deng Guihua, the ninth ancestor of the Deng family in Huawei village, Deng Guihua was a Jinshi in the middle of the Jiaqing period and an official to a chasi. Huanwen building was built by Deng Guihua's father, Deng Liangbao, and Deng Guihua. Because Deng Guihua was once known as wenlinlang, the turret with defensive function is named huanwenlou, which means advocating and carrying forward the tradition of reading. Deng Guihua's descendants are Deng Zhihe, Deng Zhonghe, Deng Xie and the Jinshi of Guanzhong.
