Guhe Township

Guhe township is located in the middle of Dahua County, on the left bank of Hongshui River. It is adjacent to LiuYe Township in the southeast, Baima Township across Hongshui River in the west, and duyang Town, Zhenxi Township and Yalong Township in the northwest and North. The township government is 35 kilometers away from the county seat. The main road from dongbafeng old revolutionary base area to Nanning runs through the hinterland of the township. There are 6 villagers' committees and 89 villagers' groups in the township, with a total area of 53 4 square kilometers, with a total population of 7562 at the end of 2003.

Guhe township is a new town founded in 1989. It was once the site of Youjiang local committee of the Communist Party of China and its party school, and the former headquarters of Guixi District of Yunnan Guangxi Guizhou border column of the Chinese people's Liberation Army. It is one of the old revolutionary areas and has a glorious tradition of revolutionary struggle. Since the great revolution, there have been more than 300 outstanding sons and daughters of the township who have joined the Chinese revolution. Among them, a number of revolutionary predecessors and martyrs have emerged, such as major general Qin guohan, commander of Guangxi military region and deputy commander of Guangzhou Military Region after liberation.

Infrastructure

The karst karst landform in the territory has created unique tourism resources. The karst caves are widely distributed. Most of them have beautiful rocks and unique natural landscapes. The landscapes of "Xianweng cave", "Xiannv cave" and "Fulong spring" near the township government are unique and have high development value. The preparatory work for the development of the above two caves has been completed. Dahua Hydropower Station will build a tourist wharf along the Hongshui River. The County Planning Bureau, the Tourism Bureau and the township government have made plans to develop characteristic agriculture in 300 mu of fertile land in the lower reaches of Fulongquan.
