Soudeng station town

Soudengzhan Town, belonging to Chuanying District, Jilin City, Jilin Province, is located in the west of Chuanying district and the east section of Changji south line highway. It borders dashuihe town in the East, kouqian town of Yongji County in the south, yilaxi town of Yongji County in the West and huapichang town of Changyi District in the north, covering an area of 297.4 square kilometers.

In the Tang Dynasty, the area around soudengzhan town belonged to Liangzhou, Bohai State; in July 1995, it was changed from a township to a town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of search town stood at 48990. As of June 2020, the town has one community and 35 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 17 industrial enterprises in soudengzhan Town, including one above scale and 58 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In the Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Liangzhou, a Bohai State.

In the Song Dynasty, it belonged to the sumo tribe of Ji state.

In Yuan Dynasty, it belonged to Xianping Prefecture.

In Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty, it belonged to the state of Wula.

In 1691, a post station was set up. In the ninth year of Yongzheng reign of Qing Dynasty (1731), sodeng station was changed into sodeng station.

In March 1948, it belonged to Yongji County.

In April 1961, sodeng station commune was set up.

In January 1984, it was changed from sodengzhan commune to sodengzhan township.

In July 1995, soudengzhan township was replaced by soudengzhan township.

In January 2000, it was assigned to Chuanying District of Jilin City.

In October 2005, Taiping Township was merged into soudeng station town.

Affected by the monsoon, it is dry in spring, with little rain and strong wind, mostly southeast wind, with an average wind force of 3-4 and the maximum wind force of 8. In summer, it has a short breeze at night, rainy and hot, often with continuous overcast and rainy weather. In autumn, it is cool and sunny, cool at night, and hot and cold. In winter, it is long, with northwest wind and severe cold.

History and culture

The word "soudeng" means "Aohua fish" in Manchu. There is a river in the town of soudeng station, which is rich in Aohua fish, so it is named soudeng. In 1784, the Qing government set up a post station in the territory, which is called "soudeng station".
