Hall Township

Hor Township, Pulan County, Tibet Autonomous Region, with a permanent population of 2133 (2017). It has jurisdiction over two village committees (Gongzhu village and Bangren Village). Xinzang highway passes through its East and West. Shigatse City and Ali area are separated by the mayoula pass, which is 5216 meters long. geographical environment

It is located in the east of the county, adjacent to Zhongba County in the East, Geji County in the north and Nepal in the south. G219 road transit. In the mayumura area between Khor and payang, the highway mainly runs in the valley of the upper reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River. Along the way, it is full of silt, swamps, floodplains, large pits and numerous streams and other complex terrain. The road condition is extremely poor, making it the most difficult section of the whole South Xinjiang Tibet line. Although highway bridges and culverts have been built and rebuilt, this section of road is still a headache for many drivers and passengers in rainy season. After getting off the mayumula pass, more than an hour's drive away from hall, gongzhucuo is on the left side of the road, and large groups of black necked cranes, Tibetan wild donkeys and yellow sheep often appear in the wetland beside the lake.

Travel

Although it is an important traffic road in and out of Ali, a large number of tourists pass through it every year, there are still few guest houses in hall district. It's simple and crude, and there are few beds. "Shenhu Hotel", 25 yuan per person. "Shenhu teahouse" can also be accommodated, 20 yuan per person, and the teahouse also provides bars, 8 yuan per bowl. Hall has few restaurants. There is a "delicious restaurant" next to the teahouse. When passing by hall, the vehicles usually stop near the "Shenhu teahouse" and "Shenhu Hotel" in the middle of the village, which becomes the center of the whole village. There are many tent shops nearby, where you can buy beer, cans, instant noodles, compressed biscuits, drinks and noodles. At the entrance to the west of the village, there is a border checkpoint where passing vehicles and passengers need to register. hall has a small hydropower station, which produces electricity that makes the light bulb look brighter than the solar bulb, that's all.
