Guanyao town

Guanyao Town, belonging to Longtan District, Jilin City, Jilin Province, is located in the northeast of Longtan District, bordering Jishu street of Shulan city in the East, JIANGMIFENG town in the south, dakouqin town in the West and Xihe town of Shulan city in the north. It is 45 kilometers away from Longtan District government, with a total area of 288.03 square kilometers.

In the early Qing Dynasty, Guanyao town was the territory of the Mongolian king; in 1983, Guanyao commune separated out Guanyao town and Guanyao township; in 1985, Guanyao township was merged into Guanyao town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the town was 30589. As of June 2020, Guanyao town has one community and 27 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Guanyao street.

In 2018, there were 29 industrial enterprises in Gangyao Town, including 3 Enterprises above Designated Size and 7 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In the early Qing Dynasty, it was the territory of the Mongolian king. In the first year of Kangxi (1662), it was named Guanyao.

In 1938, the Preparatory Office of Guanyao village was established. In the 28th year of the Republic of China (1939), it was the office of the kiln Department. In 1945, it was the Guanyao Township Office in Wula District, with a police branch. In 1945, the Guanyao District of Yongji County was established. In 1948, the town of Guanyao was established.

In 1958, Guanyao town was transformed into Guanyao commune.

In 1983, Guanyao commune was divided into Guanyao Township and Guanyao town.

In 1985, Guanyao township was merged into Guanyao town.

In January 2000, it was assigned to Longtan District of Jilin City.

In October 2005, Yangmu township was merged into Guanyao town.
