In 1956, sijiatun was established; in March 2002, sijiatun township was abolished and sijiatun street was established; in July 2005, sijiatun community was added. At the end of 2011, the total population of sijiatun street was 8011. As of June 2020, sijiatun street has jurisdiction over 6 communities and 6 administrative villages.
