Laodazhangzi Township, belonging to Jianchang County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Jianchang County, adjacent to yaolugou Township and weijialing Township in the East and northeast, Tumenzi township of Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County in Hebei Province in the West and southwest, and hekanzi township of Lingyuan City in the north, with an administrative area of 169.86 square kilometers.
In 1958, the communization was carried out, and the township was withdrawn and merged into yaolugou commune; in 1981, it was changed into laodazhangzi township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence of Lao Da Zhang Zi Township was 25427. As of June 2020, laodazhangzi township has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in laodazhangzi village.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of laodazhangzi township was 3.58 million yuan. In 2018, there were 10 industrial enterprises in laodazhangzi Township, including 2 above scale enterprises and 47 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1958, the communization was carried out, and the township was withdrawn and merged into yaolugou commune.
In 1961, it was divided with yaolugou commune and established laodazhangzi commune.
In 1981, it was changed to laodazhangzi township.
