Economics

The town government is located in Cuona neighborhood committee. The population is 3509 (2017), all Tibetan. The economy is dominated by agriculture and animal husbandry, planting highland barley, wheat and rape, and raising yaks, sheep and goats. There are primary and secondary schools, county people's Hospital, department stores, posts and telecommunications, cinemas and so on. Cuona Langbo highway passes through this area.

Geography
