Jinxing Manchu Township

Jinxing Manchu Township is located in Changbai Mountain, the upper reaches of kouhe River, the territory of fertile land, lush forest and grass, rich in mineral resources, a wide range of species. The product resources are very rich. According to incomplete statistics, there are more than ten kinds of underground mineral deposits, such as coal, limestone, gold, quartz and phosphorus. There are 12 administrative villages and 24 natural villages in the township, with 3800 households and 14522 people, including 8231 ethnic minorities. Accounting for 51% of the total population, it is a multi-ethnic minority town.

Overview of township level

The township now has 9 villages under its jurisdiction, including Jinxing village, Yuquan village, Lianhe village, Baoxing village, Yong'an village, Xin Village, Qingshan village, Yilin village and Tongxing village. There are three township level highways in the township, with a traffic mileage of 32 km. The black road is 12 km. The village level road is 15 kilometers long, initially forming a highway transportation network radiating the whole township. Communication facilities are complete, the existing cable trunk line 15 km, 310 program-controlled telephone. Jinxing Manchu Township is adjacent to Zhenxing town in the East and North, Helong Manchu Township and Liangquan town in the south, and Gengke Township and Fangmu town in the West. The township covers an area of 198000 mu, including 140000 mu of mountains, forests and valleys, accounting for 70%; 34000 mu of cultivated land, accounting for 17%; 12000 mu of rivers and reservoirs, accounting for 6%; 14000 mu of village roads, accounting for 7%. Naturally, the layout of "seven mountains and half water, two fields, half roads and manors" was formed. Resources

The forestry land is 116000 mu, including 22243.5 mu of larch, with a total volume of 49734 m3; 91095 mu of Pinus tabulaeformis, with a total volume of 27300 m3; 13020 mu of natural forest, with a total volume of 36287 m3; 4761 mu of shelter forest; and 15560 mu of other forestry land. The area of Tussah Silkworm farm is 5050 mu, and the area of fruit trees is 1556 mu. The cultivated land area is 34000 mu, including 3680 mu of paddy field. The main river Xiaokou river has a flow of 20 km and 7 tributaries, with a total length of 41 km. The artificial channel is 5 km, and the irrigation area is 3000 mu. Baoxing reservoir, the largest reservoir at the county level, has beautiful scenery and complete facilities, which is a good place for tourism and vacation.

Major industries

Due to the geographical location, the main industries of Jinxing Manchu Township are as follows: 1. Corn: the people of simple Jinxing Manchu Township still use the previous way (corn house storage) corn, so the quality of corn is very dry, no water at all, and the quality is very good. 2. Rice: because Jinxing Manchu Township is located in the mountainous area, the water used for irrigation of rice is mountain spring water, and there is no factory in the upstream, so there is no pollution. The rice grains here are crystal clear, sweet and refreshing. Tussah: since the founding of the people's Republic of China, we have continued to cultivate tussah, with rich resources of 400 tussah farms, which is the most concentrated Township in China. More than 400 tons of tussah cocoons are produced every year. It ranks first in tussah industry in China and is well-known as "the hometown of tussah". Sika Deer: sika deer is one of the "three treasures" of the local specialty in Northeast China, with low breeding cost and high benefit. The local deer feed is sufficient, the infrastructure is complete, the technical personnel and strength are strong, and it has the conditions to expand the scale of breeding. 6.
