Jiulianshan town

Jiulianshan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Longnan City, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, was officially approved for establishment on June 1, 2016. Jiulianshan town was formerly known as Jiulianshan forest farm, with an area of 209.86 square kilometers and a population of 6183 (2016). Jiulianshan town government is located in Gukeng village, which has jurisdiction over three village committees: Duntou, Gukeng and Rundong.

On June 1, 2016, Jiulianshan Town, Longnan County, Ganzhou was officially approved for establishment. Jiulianshan forest farm, the "predecessor" of Jiulianshan Town, covers an area of 209.86km2 and has a population of 6183. It governs three village committees, including Duntou, Gukeng and Rundong.

It is reported that in order to straighten out the management system of state-owned land reclamation enterprises, promote the integration of land reclamation into local areas, and strengthen the social management of land reclamation, the provincial people's Government approved the adjustment of some administrative divisions of Longnan county and established Jiulianshan town of Longnan county. The newly established Jiulianshan town has three village committees: Gukeng, Rundong and Duntou. The town government is located in Gukeng village.

Before that, Jiangxi Province has issued the guidance of "management system reform of state-owned land reclamation enterprises", straightening out the management system of state-owned land reclamation enterprises, changing farms into towns (streets, management areas, etc.), promoting the integration of land reclamation into local areas, strengthening the social management of land reclamation, establishing a modern enterprise system, promoting the industrialization, shareholding, marketization and enterprise development of land reclamation enterprises, and improving the market competitiveness of land reclamation enterprises.
