Keshan farm

Keshan farm belongs to Qiqihar Branch of Heilongjiang General Bureau of agricultural reclamation. It was originally a large machinery farm of machinery corps, located in Nehe city and Keshan County.

Its geographical location is 125 ° 07 ′ 40 ″ - 125 ° 37 ′ 30 ″ E and 48 ° 11 ′ 15 ″ - 48 ° 24 ′ 07 ″ n. There are 527000 mu of land and 408000 mu of cultivated land, 27000 people (in 2019), 5 management areas, 27 residential areas, scientific research management areas and seed processing plants.

Keshan farm is located in the West foot of Xiaoxing'an Mountains, northeast of Songnen Plain, hilly terrain, fertile soil, chernozem accounts for 98% of the land area, suitable for crop growth.

The farm is a warm and cool climate zone, characterized by dry and windy in spring, high temperature and rainy in summer, rapid cooling in autumn, early frost, long winter, heavy snow, severe cold and dry.

The annual average temperature is 1.3 ℃, reaching 2.1 ℃ in recent ten years; the active accumulated temperature ≥ 10 ℃ is 2339.8 ℃; the extreme maximum temperature is 36.5 ℃, and the minimum temperature is - 37.6 ℃. The final frost period is on May 17, the first frost period is on September 18, and the frost free period is 120 days. The annual precipitation is about 502.5mm, 68.3% from June to August, 11.0% in spring, 16.4% in autumn and 3.0% in winter. The annual average wind is 3.9 m / s. there are many strong winds in spring, South and Southeast in summer, southwest and northwest in autumn, northwest in winter and northwest in all year round.

Keshan farm of Heilongjiang Province is subordinate to Qiqihar Branch of Heilongjiang General Bureau of agricultural reclamation. Located at the junction of Keshan County and Nehe city. The fifth branch of the farm is located in Keshan County and the rest in Nehe city.

Keshan farm is located in Nehe City, 60 kilometers away from Nehe city and 50 kilometers away from Keshan County.

Keshan farm, named after Keshan County, is the second farm of Keshan County founded by Keshan County Government in 1948. In 1954, the Provincial Department of agriculture decided to expand the second farm of Keshan County to be a "state-owned Keshan machinery farm" under the Provincial Department of agriculture.

In June 1968, Heilongjiang production and Construction Corps of Shenyang Military Region was established as the 54th Regiment under the fifth division. In February 1976, the production and Construction Corps was abolished and replaced by Keshan farm, which was subordinate to Nenjiang farm administration.

Keshan farm is located in the West foot of Xiaoxing'an Mountains, the hilly area between Keshan and Nehe counties (cities). The total land area is 527000 mu, including 408000 mu of arable land, mainly wheat, soybean and corn. In 1992, the total grain output reached 91800 tons, the commodity ratio of grain and beans accounted for more than 80%, and the total agricultural output value reached 92.32 million yuan. Artificial afforestation began in 1966, and by 1984 it had planted 46000 mu. There are starch factory, monosodium glutamate factory, grain and oil processing factory, building materials factory and so on. By the end of 2019, the total population will be 27000. With a population of 20000, the site has developed into a small town.

Keshan farm is the second largest state farm in Qiqihar Branch of Heilongjiang Agricultural Reclamation Bureau.
