Fangmu town
Fangmu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Xifeng County, Tieling City, Liaoning Province, is located in the south of Xifeng County, connecting Liangquan town in the East, Kaiyuan city in the south, Gaojiadian town in the West and Gengke town in the north, with an administrative area of 228.29 square kilometers.
From February 1948 to December 1955, it belonged to four districts. In November 1998, Fangmu township was transformed into a town. By the end of 2018, 23294 households in the town of Fang Mu had registered residence. As of June 2020, Fangmu town has 13 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Fangmu town was 9.18 million yuan, an increase of 18.6% over the previous year; the general budget revenue was 9.05 million yuan, an increase of 20.1% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers was 6409 yuan, an increase of 24.7% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 2 industrial enterprises and 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Fangmu town.
History of construction
From February 1948 to December 1955, it belonged to four districts.
From January 1956 to December 1957, it belonged to Helong district and governed Fangmu, Youya and Pu'an townships.
From February to October 1958, it belonged to Helong commune.
In April 1961, Fangmu township was transformed into a commune.
In 1980, a Korean brigade was set up.
