Gaojiadian Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Xifeng County, Tieling City, Liaoning Province, is located in the west of Xifeng County, adjacent to Xifeng County in the East, Manchu Township in Chengping in the south, weiyuanbao town in Kaiyuan city in the West and Manchu Township in Mingde in the north, with an administrative area of 232.02 square kilometers.

In the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), it was Gaojiadian village, belonging to five districts (Gaojiadian); in September 1984, it was changed to Gaojiadian town. In May 2002, Songshu Manchu Township was merged into Gaojiadian town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Gao Jia Dian town was 28331. As of June 2020, Gaojiadian town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 16 administrative villages.

Corn and rice are the main food crops; cattle, pigs, deer and poultry are the main animal husbandry. In 2018, there were 36 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Gaojiadian town.

History of construction

In 1947, Gaojiadian village belonged to five districts (Gaojiadian).

In 1951, it was divided into three districts.

In 1955, the village was transformed into a township, belonging to Gaojiadian district.

In 1958, Gaojiadian district was changed into Gaojiadian commune.

In 1984, it was changed to Gaojiadian township.

In September 1984, it was changed to Gaojiadian town.

In May 2002, Songshu Manchu Township and Gaojiadian town were abolished and Gaojiadian town was merged (continue to enjoy the treatment of ethnic township).

By the end of 2011, Gaojiadian town had 16 administrative villages: Gaojiadian, liberty, Shengli, honglai, Fuchun, Yuping, Xuanhua, Pingyuan, Rong'an, Xianghe, Anle, Shenshu, Huiwen, hewai, Songshu and Lujia.
