Dadingbao Manchu Township, belonging to Yixian County, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Yixian County. It is connected with Qilihe town in the East, Yuji town of Linghai city in the south, liulonggou Manchu Township in the west, Toudaohe Manchu Township and Qianyang Township in the north, with an administrative area of 109.23 square kilometers.
Dadingbao Manchu Township originally belonged to the Second District of Yixian County; in 1985, it was changed into dadingbao Manchu Township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of the township was 6803. As of June 2020, dadingbao Manchu Township has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in dadingbao village.

In 1955, it was called dadingbao township.
In 1982, dadingbao township was transformed into dadingbao commune.
In 1985, it was changed into dadingbao Manchu Township.
