Qianyingzi town

Qianyingzi town is subordinate to Xiuyan County, Anshan City, Liaoning Province. It was named because the town government was stationed in front of the mountain in Qing Dynasty.

geographical position

Qianyingzi town is located in the south of Liaodong Peninsula, southwest of Xiuyan County. It is connected with Xiuyan town in the East, Gaizhou city in the west, Yahe office and Longtan town in the south, and shihuiyao town in the North bounded by wangjiadaling and Jinjiling.

The town covers an area of 230 square kilometers, with a horizontal distance of 45 kilometers and a vertical distance of 24 kilometers. According to the fifth census, the total population was 20822. Qianyingzi town has accumulated ancient civilization. The Beibao of dijiapu village in qianyingzi town is the site of Liao and Jin Dynasties. The unearthed bronze pot of Liao and Jin Dynasties, weighing more than 30 kg, is of great value to the study of Liao and Jin Dynasties. There are still four beacon towers in the town. There are bricks and tiles from the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the towers, which proves that this place was an important military strategic place in ancient times.

The territory is mountainous and hilly, with low terrain in the East and high terrain in the West. The terrain of the whole town is long and narrow from east to west. The hills in the West are the continuation of Qianshan Mountain range, with undulating mountains and meandering. The soil is mostly sandy loam. Dading mountain in the north is 883 meters above sea level, and camel peak in the south is 707 meters above sea level. The main river Yahe originates from yangzigou village in the west of the town, flows from west to East through 9 villages, with a flow length of 40 km. After leaving the country, it flows into Dayang river through Yahe office. Qiyi reservoir, covering an area of 860 Mu and capable of storing 3.92 million cubic meters, is located 1 km northeast of the town government. Climate type

The territory has a temperate monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. The winter is long and cold, often blowing northerly and northwesterly winds. The climate is pleasant in spring, rainy in summer and crisp in autumn. The annual frost free period is about 150 days, with an average precipitation of 800-1000 mm, and the rainfall is mainly concentrated in July and August.
