Fengfengtan Street

Fengfengtan street is under the jurisdiction of Shenhe District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. In 1961, Shenhe District was rezoned into 14 urban communes, and fengfengtan commune was set up independently. In July 1978, fengfengtan commune was transformed into a street. In January 2005, yonghuan community of Erjing street was assigned to fengfengtan street. As of June 2020, fengfengtan street has 7 communities under its jurisdiction.

In 2011, there was one industrial enterprise above Designated Size in fengfengtan street with 2000 employees, realizing an industrial added value of 31 million yuan.

History of construction

In November 1948, Shenyang was divided into eight districts: Shenhe District, Beiguan District, Dadong District, Nanshi District, Beishi District, Heping District, Tiexi District and Huanggu District.

In 1954, fengfengtan street was established.

In October 1958, it was changed into embryonic City commune.

In February 1959, the three districts of Nanshi, Beishi and Beiguan were abolished, and eight districts were changed into five districts. Fengfengtan (bud) commune was assigned to Shenhe District.

In April 1960, Shenhe District changed 18 urban communes into 6, and fengfengtan commune was merged into Xiaonan commune.
