Changbai Street

Changbai street, a street under the jurisdiction of Heping District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the south of Heping District, to the south of Hunhe River, to the east of Nanjing South Street and shenshuiwan street, to the south of Hunhe Station East Street in Dongling District, bounded by Hunnan West Road, to the west of Shenda railway bridge and Hunhe Station West Street, and to the north of Hunhe River. The administrative area is 6.36 square kilometers. By the end of 2011, the total population of Changbai street was 41332.

In January 1995, the township was transformed into a street. In November 2001, it was put under the peace zone. In November 2007, it was under the jurisdiction of mazhongtun, shagangzi and xijiahe three administrative villages. As of June 2020, Changbai street has 10 communities under its jurisdiction.

In 2011, the national tax revenue of Changbai street was 100 million yuan, and the local tax revenue was 200 million yuan.

In 1983, it had jurisdiction over six administrative villages of Shangjiahe, zhongjiahe, Xiajiahe, xijiahe, shagangzi and mazhongtun on the South Bank of Hunhe River, and three agricultural and industrial companies of Wangjiazhuang, Shashan and Wulihe on the North Bank of Hunhe River.

In November 2007, it had jurisdiction over three administrative villages: mazhongtun, shagangzi and xijiahe.

History and culture

Changbai street was named after Changbai commune, which was set up near Changbai Street on the North Bank of Hunhe river when it was founded in 1956.
