Changqing Town, subordinate to Yongtai County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, is located in the northwest of Yongtai County, bordering Dongyang Township in the East, Zhongxian Township in Youxi County in the west, Songkou town in the south, Gaiyang Township in the southwest and Shanglian Township in Minqing County in the north. It has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages with an area of 16059 hectares and a population of 10298 (in 2017). It is the grain producing area, plum producing area and forest area of Yongtai County.

In 2014, Changqing town won the title of "2012-2013 national ecological township".

Historical evolution
