Dafuyingzi Township

Dafuyingzi Township, belonging to Songshan District, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Songshan District, adjacent to Gangzi Township in the East, Damiao town in the south, Weichang Manchu and Mongolian Autonomous County in Chengde City, Hebei Province in the west, and Wengniute Banner and Keshiketeng Banner in the North. The area is 697 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 23237 people registered residence.

In 1962, danianzi commune was transferred back to Chifeng county. In 1968, it was changed to the Revolutionary Committee of danianzi commune. In 1980, the Management Committee of danianzi commune was restored. In 1984, dafuyingzi commune separated from Damiao commune and set up dafuyingzi Township, Dongshan commune separated from danianzi commune and set up Dongshan Township, danianzi commune changed into township. In January 2006, the three townships of dafuyingzi, danianzi and Dongshan were merged into dafuyingzi township. As of June 2020, 21 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of dafuyingzi village.

Historical evolution

At the beginning of liberation in 1945, Chixi county was under the special administration of Rezhong in Rehe province. Chixi county was divided into nine districts, nine of which were located in the former danianzi township.

In October 1946, Chixi county was divided into four districts.

In 1948, Chixi county was merged into Chifeng County, and the four districts were changed into nine districts, which still governs the whole territory of the present village.

After the founding of the people's Republic of China, dafuyingzi township is still nine districts.

In January 1956, after the withdrawal of the District, it set up the village of dafuyingzi; in September of the same year, it set up two townships of danianzi and Dongshan.

In 1958, three communes, namely, dafuyingzi commune, danianzi commune and Dongshan commune, were established; in October of the same year, danianzi commune and Dongshan commune were put under Wengniute Banner.

In 1960, dafuyingzi commune was merged into Damiao commune and Dongshan commune into danianzi commune.

In 1962, danianzi commune was transferred back to Chifeng county.

In 1968, it was changed to the Revolutionary Committee of danianzi commune.

In 1980, the Management Committee of danianzi commune was restored.

In 1984, dafuyingzi commune separated from Damiao commune and set up dafuyingzi Township, Dongshan commune separated from danianzi commune and set up Dongshan Township, danianzi commune changed into township.
