Yuwang Street
Yuwang street is located in the north of Huanggang City, 5km away from the residence of the district government, which is the location of Yuwang industrial zone. It is adjacent to Huanggang new city in the East, Mucheng in the north, Huanggang City in the south, Chibi street and Donghu street in the south, and the Yangtze River in the West. The Huanggang Yangtze River Bridge, which was opened to traffic on June 16, 2014, is in the territory. Tuanheuang highway runs through the whole territory from north to south, the highway along the river surrounds the western territory, and Xinyu Avenue connects Ganghu. Huanggang thermal power plant and Tangdu automobile freight terminal are closely linked to the golden waterway of the Yangtze River, connecting East and West, reaching Chongqing and Shanghai. There are alluvial plains along the river in the West and hills in the East. The terrain is high in the East and low in the West. It belongs to Binjiang Pinghu area, with the highest altitude of 42 meters at wangfudun and the lowest altitude of 17.7 meters at jiwo lake.

There is a famous Warring States city site in Yuwang street, with an area of 1.5 square kilometers. Now the ancient city wall is 2 kilometers. More than 2000 years ago, "King Xuan of Chu (369-339 BC) destroyed Ying (now Zou County, Shandong Province) and moved to Ying Zi, so it is also called Ying Cheng". In the fourth year of Xiankang (338 AD) of Eastern Jin Dynasty, Yuzhou was sent to rule here, seeking for the settlement of Shihu. In Sui Dynasty, Yongan monarchy was established, so it is also called Ying Cheng Yong'an City, which was the government of Huangzhou in the late Tang Dynasty, is commonly known as Nvwang city. Later, it was changed into Yuwang city in the Song Dynasty. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, more than 4000 pieces of cultural relics such as bronze swords and bronze bells from the spring and autumn and Warring States periods, nine lotus lanterns, wine jugs and plum blossom bronze mirrors from the Eastern Han Dynasty, and more than 300 ancient tombs were unearthed in the city. There are four famous temples in the territory: Fengxiang temple, Yingcheng temple, Sanguan temple and Taiping temple. Among them, Taiping temple is a large-scale temple with tens of thousands of tourists and pilgrims. It is said that Princess Taiping lived here at the end of Ming Dynasty. The local people commemorate her, so it gets its name. 13 administrative villages and 92 villager groups. There are 6828 households with a population of 24410, which are made up of 52 surnames. The cultivated land covers an area of 23872 mu, including 807 mu of fruits and seedlings, 16013 mu of dry land, 6935 mu of paddy field, 2343 mu of intensive fish ponds and 3013 mu of ponds and lakes. the office is built along the huangtuan highway, forming a T-shaped pattern, close to the urban area of Huangzhou.

In 1987, Yuwang urban and rural areas and Sanjiangkou Township were merged into Huangzhou town. In February 1991, the former Huangzhou town was divided into three parts: 11 villages in Yuwang urban and rural areas, 1 Agricultural Science Institute, 4 villages and 2 farms in Sanjiangkou Township, wangyuedi farm and 1 farm. Yuwang sub district office was established, covering an area of 49.01 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 3 communities: wangyuedi, wangjiachong and Wanfu; 13 village committees: wangjiachong Lin, yuwangcheng, Zhangwan, liujiadawu, zhangang, Taiping temple, Donghu, fengxiangqiao, fanjiawan, weijialiangting, Xinhe, caiwuliao, tangjiadu.

The total output of grain is 7632 tons, that of cotton is 805 tons, that of oil is 1310 tons, that of vegetables is 25236 tons, that of live pigs is 10450, that of poultry is 128000, that of eggs is 426 tons, and that of aquatic products is 2147 tons. There are 56 beef cattle and 52 sheep. There are more than 4000 migrant workers in the office. The per capita net income of residents is 4386 yuan.
