Xinglong Street Town

Xinglongjie town is located in the southwest of Zizhong County, 15km away from Zizhong County (Shuinan town), 468m above sea level, covering an area of 34.93 square kilometers, with a total population of 20276 people (2017), managing one community and 13 administrative villages. In August 1992, xinglongjie town was built by merging xinglongjie Township and Wuhuang township. It is located in Hilly and mountainous areas.

In December 2019, with the approval of Sichuan provincial government, Xinglong Street town was cancelled, and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Xinqiao Town. The people's Government of Xinqiao Town was stationed at 31 Xingxue street.

General introduction

Shiyan River traverses the whole territory, including baiyunxia reservoir, Huaguang reservoir and Baiyang reservoir. The altitude is 500m, the annual average temperature is 20 ~ C, and the annual precipitation is 1000mm. It produces rice, wheat, corn, rape, sweet potato, peanuts and other crops, and pigs are the main livestock and poultry. In 1998, the gross national product was 48 million yuan, the total output value of industry and agriculture was 115 million yuan, and the total output value of township enterprises was 161 million yuan.

There are provincial units Chuanchu machinery repair plant, foreign enterprises Hongtai building materials Co., Ltd., Weiyuan County Shenli Industrial Corporation and Zizhong baiyunxia power plant, county enterprises Chuancheng building materials Co., Ltd., town enterprises Xinglong Building Materials Co., Ltd. with an annual output of 100000 tons of cement and Xingda Coal Co., Ltd. with an annual output of 80000 tons of coal.
