Erbu town
Erbu Town, belonging to Yizhou District of Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Hami City. It is adjacent to Hongxing erchang in the East, Nanhu Township in the south, Wubao town and Liushuquan farm in the west, Xishan Township and deweiliduke Kazakh nationality township in the north, 38 kilometers away from Hami City. The area is 699.42 square kilometers. In 2018, 14802 people registered residence.
In the Republic of China, it belongs to Sanbao district. In 1944, it belonged to Sanbao Township, divided into huoshiquan, Gongshang, toubao, Erbao and Sibao. At the beginning of liberation, it belonged to Erbao Township, Sanbao district. In 1956, after withdrawing the district and merging the township, er Bao township was left. In September 1958, it was renamed Red Star commune. In 1962, it was also called Er Bao commune. In 1984, it was changed into the people's Government of Erbao township. In 1998, the township was transformed into a town. As of October 2019, erbu town has nine administrative villages.

The terrain is high in the north and low in the south. The terrain trends gently from north to south. The town is flat and open, with an average altitude of 806m.

Erbu town is a temperate continental climate, which is characterized by drought and less rain, large temperature difference between day and night, long sunshine time, windy and changeable cold and warm in spring, extremely hot and strong evaporation in summer, clear and rapid cooling in autumn, cold and stable low air layer in winter.
