Dafa Street

Dafa sub district office is an old coal mining area established in the early 1950s. It is located in the northeast of Shiguai District, Baotou City, covering an area of about six square kilometers. The terrain is narrow and long, with a north-south trend. There are 269 registered households and 580 people (in 2010). The office has a neighborhood committee. Most of the young and middle-aged labor force outflow, the family planning rate reached 100% for eight consecutive years, and the population showed negative growth for five consecutive years. At present, the region is old, weak, sick and disabled, and the economic development lags behind. in view of the actual situation in Dafa area, the office has increased the distribution of the minimum living security fund for urban residents, so as to ensure the minimum living security. By the end of the fourth quarter of 2004, there were 608 households with 1509 people in Dafa District enjoying the minimum living allowance, and the minimum living allowance was 36068400 yuan per quarter. In 2004, 236 "40-50" employees were reemployed, and the office provided 402 reemployment jobs for the unemployed. Social security in the region is stable, no criminal cases and public security cases have occurred, 6 safe and civilized communities have been established, and 2 have been reported to the municipal level. due to decades of predatory mining in changhangou coal mine and dozens of small coal mines around, a large area of geological collapse and landslides are caused in the area, involving 1400 households, nearly 3000 people, accounting for 50% of the area. according to the actual situation of the District, the Party Working Committee of the office has carried out a variety of service activities for the convenience and benefit of the people, which have been highly praised by the masses.
