Dachaoxiang

Dachao township is located in the west of Zhaohua District, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. Chaoyang Township in the East, Zhaohua town in the north, Lizhou District in the West and Jiange County in the south. It governs 6 villages and 32 communities, with a total population of 2581 (2017). The area of cultivated land is 3388 mu, and the area of returning farmland to forest is 3100 mu. Township is steep in the north and slowly erosive in the south, with high mountains and deep gullies, with an average altitude of 850 meters, and the highest point, Yuntai Mountain, is 1254 meters above sea level. The soil is reddish brown purple soil, with liaoyegou reservoir, Wangjiagou reservoir and tangfangwan reservoir. The annual average temperature is 14.1 ℃ and the annual average rainfall is 900 mm. Dachaoxiang is rich in forest resources and tourism resources. The forest coverage rate is 68.9%, and the ecological public welfare forest is 53604 mu. Tourism resources mainly include Renren mountain, Wufeng mountain, Zhaizi mountain, Jiuqu mountain, Songning bridge, tieshuanzi bridge, cliff stone carvings, Huangbai ancient post road, gaomiaopu and other scenic spots. The 18 kilometer long ancient post road of the Three Kingdoms passes through. It is a key tourism town in Guangyuan City, and was rated as an eco-tourism demonstration town in Sichuan Province in 2012. Historical change

From the fourth year of Tianqi in Ming Dynasty to the twenty fourth year of the Republic of China, it was an important station in Sichuan and Shaanxi. In the Qing Dynasty, it was a part of Qinghe (LI) township of Zhaohua County, where garrison troops were stationed. From the early years of the Republic of China to 20 years ago, Bao, Jia and Pai were set up under the jurisdiction of Zhaohua county. In the spring of 1935, the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army established the Soviet regime in Dachao township of Chihua county. At the end of the twenty-four years of the Republic of China, a joint insurance system was set up. Zhaohua county is a district of three joint protection. In October 1947, dachaoxiang was added. It belongs to the third district of Zhaohua county. In March 1950, the Dachao rural farmers association was established. To exercise the functions of township government. In 1951, the system of Bao and Jia was abolished, and the former one and six Bao were replaced by the new dachaoxiang. In the same year, seven or eight guarantees were assigned to Lishu Township, Baolun district; nine or ten guarantees to Baitian Township, Baolun district (now Chihua township); two, three, four, five and six guarantees to Chaoyang township. In 1952, the second and third groups of the three villages were assigned to Shaba township. In 1964, Baiyang brigade of Chaoyang commune was assigned to the township. In 1985, it belonged to Zhaohua District Office of Guangyuan City. In 1986, it belonged to Weizi District Office of Shizhong District, Guangyuan City. In 1989, it belonged to Yuanba district. It was incorporated into Zhaohua town in 1992. In 1995, fudachao township was designated. in December 2019, Dachao township was abolished and its administrative region was put under the jurisdiction of Zhaohua town.

Yuntai Mountain, located in Dachao Township, is 15 kilometers away from Jianmen pass and 20 kilometers away from Zhaohua ancient city. It is said that it was formed from the head of Deng AI, the Wei general, who was wrongly killed, so it is also called "rentou mountain". It is common for people to see the rosy clouds passing by when the rain comes and the weather is fine. They appear at the top of the mountain, so they are also called "Yuntai Mountain". Mountain climbing, sunrise in the morning and sea of clouds in the evening make you feel the pleasure of rising to immortality and living in a transcendent world. For this reason, Yuntai Mountain is known as little Emei. According to the unified annals of the Qing Dynasty, rentou mountain is 45 Li to the west of Zhaohua County, with prominent mountains, just like rentou. In the late Tang Dynasty, Wang Hongzhi came out from the south of Jianmen after the rentou mountain in baiweiling. Yuntai Mountain is the highest mountain in the world. It is surrounded by cliffs and steep cliffs, surrounded by mountains, rugged rocks, steep winding paths, lush ancient trees, strange plant shape, strong grass, birds and beasts. "Yixiantian" is extremely dangerous, also known as "Caijun cave". It is said that taishanglaojun was here to make pills. "Guanyin hall" has a novel architectural concept. The spring water in the rock is drawn from the jade bottle in the hands of the audience. It flows out intermittently and regularly, and flows continuously over the years. Anyone who climbs here has to drink a few mouthfuls and wash his face and hands. It is said that this water can eliminate diseases and disasters, and has the special effect of beauty. On the top of the mountain, there are Wangyuan building and Chuanzhu temple. The main temple of Sichuan was originally dedicated to Li Bing and his son who had made great contributions to the flood control. The common people paid homage at four o'clock to pray for good weather. The Wangyuan building was first built by Mao Tuji under the orders of the 19th Department of Daoguang. There is a "da'er cave" (rock) in the mountain. It is said that in order to get a son, the newlyweds throw stones with their back to da'er cave. If they throw stones into the cave, they will give birth to a dragon. There are also a release pool and nine nine cloud ladders.
