Xincun Township
Xincun township is located in the northwest of Tongchuan District, Dazhou City, 32 kilometers away from the main urban area of Dazhou City, covering an area of 33.39 square kilometers. There are 5 administrative villages, 1 community neighborhood committee, 45 villager groups in the township, with a total population of 6277 people (2017). The cultivated land area is 5753 mu, the forest area is about 26000 mu, and the forest coverage rate is 42%. Xincun township is a typical agricultural township in mountainous area with an average annual temperature of about 17 ° C.
There are Shuangxin highway, Puxin highway, Mengxin highway, Longxin highway and Jinxin highway in Xincun Township, which are connected with the surrounding villages and towns. At the same time, all administrative villages in the township are connected by village roads. The Bada expressway has the exit of Anyun and Xincun in Luohua village of Anyun Township, which is convenient for transportation.
In December 2018, zengjiagou village, Xincun Township, was selected as the "fifth batch of Chinese traditional villages".
In December 2019, the administrative divisions of some townships in Tongchuan District will be adjusted, and Xincun township will be abolished. The administrative areas of Lvmeng community, ranhe village, Changhe village, Fengkou village and zengjiagou village of the former Xincun township will be under the jurisdiction of Shuanglong Town, and the people's Government of Shuanglong town will be stationed at No. 48 Yucai street; the administrative areas of Liyuan Village of the former Xincun township will be under the jurisdiction of Pujia Town, and the people's Government of Pujia town will be stationed at No. 150 Xinglong Street.
Historical evolution
Xincun township is located in the northwest of Tongchuan District, Dazhou city. It was originally named Lijiaba. It was built in the late Qing Dynasty. It was merged with Longtan River in 1944 and named Lilong township. It was merged into Shuanglong Township in 1947. Xincun township was established in 1952, changed into commune in 1958, and restored to Daxian County in 1984. In 1992, it was divided into Tongchuan District, 32 kilometers away from Dacheng, covering an area of 32 square kilometers.
In December 2019, the administrative divisions of some townships in Tongchuan District will be adjusted, and Xincun township will be abolished. In 2008, the total social production value of the township was 120 million yuan, including 63.638 million yuan in the primary industry, a year-on-year increase of 22.178 million yuan; 34.78 million yuan in the secondary industry, a year-on-year increase of 31.24 million yuan; 21.572 million yuan in the tertiary industry, a year-on-year increase of 14.532 million yuan. Characteristic industry
Xincun has beautiful scenery, rich forest resources and stone resources. Liyuan Village is famous for its 1000 mu pears, including Jinshui, Huanghua, liuyuesu, Huangjin and Yuanhuang. It is the main source of local people's income.
